About Tim 'Elias' Fitzsimmons
Certified Pastoral Counselor
My Story
In 2010, I began meeting weekly with men to disciple, counsel, and walk alongside them through life’s challenges. What began as a local ministry eventually extended to the mission field, where I witnessed God bring hope, healing, and transformation through these relationships. Through it all, the Holy Spirit continued to affirm a foundational truth: lasting transformation begins when Christ is at the center.
As I recognized a growing calling to serve men and couples through Christian counseling, I pursued further biblical and pastoral training. In 2021, I earned a Certification in Pastoral Counseling from the Hope Institute for Pastoral Counseling. My training included understanding how the brain responds to trauma and anxiety, as well as biblically grounded approaches to PTSD, addiction, unhealthy sexuality, and misplaced affections, including the love of money.
My heart is to provide men and couples with a safe, compassionate, and highly confidential environment where they can explore their struggles, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and grow in their understanding of His Word. Christ and Scripture are the foundation of my approach to healing and spiritual growth. Alongside biblical guidance, I offer practical tools and strategies to help individuals and couples develop healthier patterns, strengthen their relationships, and experience growth spiritually, emotionally, sexually, and relationally.
Through years of ministry, I have gained a deeper understanding of the struggles men face, and through my own testimony, I have experienced firsthand the transforming power of Christ. These experiences continue to shape my passion for helping men and couples find hope, healing, and lasting change through a deeper relationship with Jesus.
In addition to counseling, I speak at men’s gatherings, encouraging and equipping men to stand firm in their faith, navigate the pressures of today’s culture, and live courageously for Christ. My desire is to help men and couples move beyond simply managing life’s challenges toward genuine heart transformation, stronger relationships, and a faith that continues to grow in Christ.
